Pumpkin Harvest Craft: What You’ll Need
You’ll only need a few affordable supplies for this harvest craft. I can truly be as budget friendly as you want. Pick your favorite store or use supplies that have been collecting dust in your closet. Let’s get started!
- Plain unpainted basket of choice
- Warm brown acrylic paint
- Green burlap ribbon
- Delicate fall flowers
- Hot Glue Gun

Step-by-step
Once you have all of your supplies gathered, follow each step of the process. Choose a surface like cardboard or paper that you can paint on.
1. Paint Basket (except rims!)
Take your basket and paint the inside and outside with the warm brown paint. Leave the rim of the basket unpainted so it can dry without sticking to the surface.

2. Let the basket dry
Let the basket dry on your surface of choice. Once fully dry, you can flip it over and move on to step 3.
3. Paint Basket Rim & Handle Grip
Begin this step by adding some tape to the medal part of the handle to keep the paint from getting on it. Then you can paint the rim and handle grip.

4. Let new paint dry
Make sure the paint on the rim and grip is completely dry before moving on to step 5.
5. Add burlap ribbons
Once the paint is completely dry from step 4, take your green burlap ribbons and hot glue them around the top rim and middle of the basket.

6. Add Sprigs
Now add a couple sprigs of your fall flowers to the handle as you desire with hot glue. Now your basket is ready to be filled!

7. Fill basket to give strong “harvest craft” vibe
Fill your basket with your favorite autumn colored flowers, pumpkins, or whatever else you prefer.
